Job Safety Analysis
A job safety analysis (JSA) is a procedure which helps to integrate safety and health principles and practices into a particular task or job operation. So in JSA, each basic step of the job is to identify potential hazards and to advice the safest way to do the job.
Objective of JSA :-
Identify and describe a broad array of work-related hazards
Understand and apply hazard control options, including engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment.
Understand the opportunities to integrate JSA information into Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Accident Investigations, Workplace Inspections, etc.
Developing safe job procedures for each step of job
